  • Will start with a detailed external review of your disk, and will only then connect the drive to our specially equipped data-recovery computer for further research.
  • Will never overwrite data on the original disk. This prevents further damage to your drive.
  • Will make a copy of your drive ASAP, so that a search for other solutions can continue.
  • Will recover your data after extensive analysis. All this usually within two business days after recieving the disk.
  • Will return your data on CDROM, or if that is inconvenient for you, we'll figure something out together.

Choices

  • You can let us recover the whole disk, or just certain files. This last option may cost less! (see our pricelist)
  • If you want, we can continue to work on your datarecovery day-and-night, 7 days a week.

Extra tips

  • A disk that has caused you troubles belongs in the trash. Sometimes we return a disk to you that looks as if it's working just fine. Trash it, or ask us for an expert opinion.
  • If your disk breaks down shortly after purchase, it is probably still under warranty. Contact your vendor, and tell them your disk broke down, and that you're sending your drive to harddisk-recovery.com for data-recovery. You will sometimes be offered a new drive even before they get the old one back. Be careful: They sometimes offer you a replacement disk, offering to copy your data. However they will give up at the first sign of trouble. And then it's impossible to get your original drive back.
  • There are programs that claim to be able to recover data from broken drives. These are designed for specific problems, and will only solve THOSE problems. We are highly trained humans, able to adapt to the problems that we encounter. We also work on a copy, to prevent further damage. So, please, contact harddisk-recovery.com before trying a whole horde of programs on your drive. You may just make matters worse.
